    How much food waste do you have approximately per year? One food bin with 60 kg per day, with 260 working days per year, equals approximately 16,000 kg. How many hours do you spend on waste management per day? Here we take as a basis an hourly wage of 200 DKK and 260 working days per year, corresponding to a 5-day work week.
    Do you store food waste in refrigeration?
    Include the grease separator in the calculation. At BTN we have the option to empty your grease separator at the same time as we service our system, allowing us to offer cheaper grease separator emptying.
    Do you have any other known expenses related to waste management? This could, for example, include cutlery that ends up in the trash, replacement of containers, etc.

    Power consumption per hour for the cooling room in kWh What is the power consumption of your cooling room where you store food waste? Time consumption per day. How many hours does the cooling room run per day? Number of cooling days per year: 365 Electricity price per kWh: Electricity price per kWh.
    Our baseline is 1.25 DKK including taxes and tariffs.

    Cost of 240l food buckets (60 KG PER BUCKET)

    How many full bins do you empty daily? Here we take as a basis 240L food bins, which are emptied when they contain approximately 60 kg of waste. If you fill out this field, it will overwrite the data from point 1.
    One bin per day with 260 working days corresponds to approximately 16,000 kg of food waste per year.         Amount per container: The average is approximately 60 kg per bin.
